Super rookie Duane "Kelra" Pillas' heroics which greatly helped Execration rule the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 didn't go unnoticed as he was named the regional tournament's Finals MVP on Sunday night, June 13.

Kelra came through with stellar performances on different side lane mages to steer Execration to a sweet 4-1 revenge win against Blacklist International in the best-of-seven grand finals.

The 16-year-old gold laner on his Esmeralda and Lunox sparked the black and blue squad's come-from-behind victories in Games 3 and 4 that pushed them to the championship point.

Kelra capped his explosive effort with Chang'e in the closeout Game 5 wherein he racked up 15 kills to go with five assists against only two deaths as Execration completed its fiery lower bracket run to get a vengeance against MPL Philippines Season 7 finals rival Blacklist.

All in all, the young pride of Muntinlupa hit an 8.3 KDA built on over 4K damage per minute (DPM) on top of 755.1 gold per minute (GPM).

"Sobrang saya po kasi di ko po ine-expect na makakarating po ako dito. Pangarap ko po talaga maging pro player (I'm very happy because I never expected to reach the MSC. It's really my dream to become a pro player)," said Kelra in the interview shortly after Execration's victory.

"'Di ko in-expect kasi akala ko si Ch4knu (Joshua Mangilog) ang MVP (I didn't expect this award. I thought Ch4knu would be the MVP)," he added.

With the MSC title now checked on his bucket list along with a bonus Finals MVP trophy, Kelra said he is eyeing to win the MPL-PH Season 8 and ultimately the M3 World Championship together with Execration.
