Many scoff at Jessy Mendiola insisting she is already a has-been.
Some might deem such a remark all-too savage if quite cruel, particularly for an actress still quite young but, no.
Jessy is actually ready to admit there is a grain of truth to it.
She tackled the matter head-on via her most recent vlog maintaining, “I don’t feel hurt or anything."
"In a way, medyo totoo naman din na hindi na rin talaga ako super active."
“Wala rin naman talaga ako magagawa,” she added. “I’m just really thankful na kumbaga na sa circulation pa ako ng showbiz.”
Jessy, 28, eked huge success early in her career, thanks to ABS-CBN allowing her huge projects left and right.
But none too soon talk about her alleged foul temperament emerged.
As bad as it was, things eventually got even worse.
Jessy's image would further be tarnished with her being dragged in Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin's very public breakup.
She has denied involvement in the matter but to no avail.
If anything, she has since admitted to being "masungit" at the height of her fame in an earlier vlog.
She said, "Noong medyo bagets-bagets pa ako, masungit talaga ako kasi hindi rin talaga ako masaya sa buhay ko. I think 'yon 'yong kumalat sa tabloid or kumalat sa production na masama ang ugali ko. Aminin ko talaga, masungit ako noon..."
Jessy maintained this is exactly the biggest reason why she is now maintaining a vlog.
It is not for the lack of work.
She simply wants people to get to know the real her.
