"Congrats to one of my idols Nikola "The Joker" Jokić for bagging the NBA MVP this season! As the lowest draft pick to ever win an MVP, you prove to us that hard work pays off. Well deserved!" wrote Fajardo with a couple of clapping emojis.

The eight-time PBA champion was all smiles after flexing the customized shoes he wore during the FIBA meet and thanked the newly hailed NBA MVP for the prized signature.

Meanwhile, Jokic and the Nuggets are currently behind 3-0 against semifinal contender Phoenix Suns. Game 4 will resume on Monday, June 14.
