PRIVILEGED? Isabelle Daza receives backlash over controversial hat

Netizens frowned at Isabelle Daza for a photo of her and her husband Adrien Semblat wearing caps with "Vaccinated by Pfizer."

Apparently, some online users were offended by the couple's gesture and saw it as being "boastful."

"If it's meant to raise awareness on the importance of vaccination bakit kailangan included 'yung brand?," one wrote, eagerly trying to find out Isabelle's "purpose."

Another added: "She is Isabelle Daza. She IS tacky. Do we have to be reminded how many times she's been called out before?"

Someone also echoed the same sentiment, relating how the daughter of Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz was being "out-of-touch rich person that she is."

Others defended Isabelle. They pointed out that despite naysayers tagging the actress as a "privilege" or "tone-deaf," at the end of the day, she's not hurting anyone.

Some also shielded Isabelle from people questioning which "category" she belongs to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Isabelle is currently based in Hong Kong, where her husband works.

It was learned that the hats were being sold for a good cause.

"A portion of proceeds from sales will be donated to causes fighting the COVID-19 outbreak in India," read the text on the official website of the store.
