Pasay City government accepts walk-ins under A4 category

The Pasay City government has started the vaccination of persons under the A4 category and will accept walk-ins provided that they have complete documents to be submitted at the vaccination site.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said employees from private companies who pre-listed at the “Vacc to the Future” vaccination program of the city government will be given an appointment date for their vaccination.

Rubiano said the private companies in the city that want their employees to get vaccinated must also submit the list of names at [email protected] and they will be given an appointment for their vaccination.

She said the city government is continuing to conduct the vaccination of city residents under the A1 (front line workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (adults with comorbidities).

The mayor said the city government is also offering mobile vaccination to bedridden senior citizens and adults with comorbidities.

Rubiano said the city government topped the vaccine utilization rate in Metro Manila with 85 percent due mostly to the city's continuing vaccination program and information campaign on the importance of being vaccinated.

She also said the city has the lowest cases of COVID-19 in Metro Manila at 49 or 0.34 percent active cases of the total 14, 352 since last year.

The mayor said the city logged its highest cases in February and March and the spread was immediately prevented with the implementation of localized community lockdowns and health protocols.
