Kris Bernal postpones wedding—June bride, no more

Every bride's dream to get married the past year has been shattered, and celebrity Kris Bernal is not exempted from this. She posted over the weekend that she was supposed to get married last June 5, Saturday, and how that was was supposed to be her biggest day ever as she becomes Mrs. Choi.

"I remember it was April, when a sudden surge in COVID-19 cases happened and it reached around 12,000 or 15,000 a day so we decided to move our wedding instead. After careful consultation with our families, friends, and suppliers, it’s with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we had to move the wedding to a latter date because of the coronavirus surge," she revealed on her Instagram post.

It was heartbreaking for the bride-to-be to share this bit of news, "I remember crying so hard that day as I was having a hard time sending my cancellation message. I think it was one of the toughest decisions that I ever made but we need to prioritize the health and safety of the most important people in our lives."

But she knows that what's most important is the safety of her guests. And instead of a wedding, she will be sharing more photos from the prenup shoot this month. Shot by Nice Print Photo, the photography team shared more over on their Instagram account.
