Disc jockey Nicole Hyala was emotional when she recalled the recent near-death experience of her eight-year-old daughter, Princess.
On her recent vlog, Nicole and her husband Renly Tiñana opened up about their child's viral encephalitis journey and how she survived.
According to the couple, what happened was indeed a testament to "God's love and miracle."
For almost a month, Princess was battling with the "sudden" and "unexpected" inflammation of her brain. But they surrendered everything to the Lord and let Him took the wheel.
Thankfully, their child was able to recover a month later. Though, Princess is still undergoing different therapies - physical, speech, and occupational.
The couple revealed that their hospital bill amounted to P2.3 million. Fortunately, expenses was covered by their health insurance.
In the same video, Princess expressed gratitude for those who prayed for her.
"When I was in the hospital, I had to pray, 'God, please get me out of the hospital.' In one month, I got out," she said.
"My last wish was to walk. Now I can walk… Always pray to God, Jesus, and Mama Mary."
