MB Daily News Update

The country’s vaccination rollout shifted into high gear with the start of inoculation on ‘all employees who go out for work’ – that’s about 35 million. And President Duterte believes that the “end of the tunnel” could be in sight as more vaccines are set to arrive in the country this month.

But there is still concern on the number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections outside Metro Manila, which has continued to rise in comparison to the number of new cases in the National Capital Region (NCR)-Plus.

These are among the top stories this Monday afternoon, June 7, 2021.
