Heeding to Virlanie Foundation Inc.’s charitable call dubbed as Rice Up Challenge 2021, last May 28, 2021, the Wong Chu King Foundation Inc. (WCKFI) turned over to Virlanie Foundation thirty (30) sacks of rice and several cases of bottled drinking water.

According to the Virlanie Foundation, Rice Up Challenge 2021 was launched to address the health issues of the undernourished children in its mission to assist beneficiaries from developing areas across Metro Manila, in order to elevate the importance of overall health and well-being for individuals, most especially to disadvantaged members of society such as street children and displaced families that become vulnerable and prone to physical and mental health problems during this trying time.

This donation of sacks of rice and cases of bottled drinking wateris WCKFI’s humble way of extending its helping hand to vulnerable members of society who are gravely affected by the continuous menace brought about by theCOVID-19 pandemic.

Ever willing to fulfill one of its aims in fostering a compassionate society, WCKFI has been ready and is always ready to lend its caring hands to sectors of society where help is needed most.
