GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Police are eyeing personal grudge as possible motive in the killing of a top executive of the Brigada media network here last Friday.

Police Col. Gilberto Tuzon, city police director, said probers had already pinpointed some persons of interest in the killing of Yentez Quintoy, 39, who was waylaid by two unidentified men riding in tandem on a motorcycle while driving a Sports Utility Vehicle on her way home to Barangay San Isidro, this city.

Tuzon said police investigators are collating material evidence needed in the filing of criminal charges against the suspects. “Hopefully, we can file the case against the suspects by Monday,” Tuzon said.

He said PNP chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar had ordered him to dig deeper into the killing of Quintoy, the third victim of motorcycle riding gunmen in a span of one week here.

Elmer Catulpos, chief executive officer of Brigada media network, condemned the killing of his long-time executive assistant and offered a P1-million reward for anybody who can provide information that could lead to the solution of the case.

More than 20 shooting incidents in this city have been perpetrated by motorcycle-riding gunmen since January this year.
