Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Day 5: Prints charming, celestial beings, and high tea to wrap the season

Here are the best looks from season 12

PMFF12 Day 5's top looks

For its final day, the Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival wraps up its 12th runway season with shows filled with wonder, moral lessons, and happy endings.

Opening the show is Alodia Cecilia with an ecocentric collection "FLVX > LAYA > EN'COUTH," featuring garments celebrating texture, Filipino textiles, and the power of circular fashion.

Echoing the spirit of Filipino tapestry is Benjie Panizales' "Thrive My Tribe." The designer champions Davao's legacy with a collection that infuses indigenous fabrics with contemporary design.

Promising better days is the "Hope" collection by Gil Macaibay III. Mixing painting-like prints with a striking jewel tone color story, the collection is the happy pill we need to pull us from our languishing limbo.

Mavy De Leon Ladlad looked to the night sky to craft the "Kiss of the Silver Moon" collection. Mimicking the bright moon, the star-dotted horizon, and the tranquil evening sea, the collection presents elegant formal wear fit for any celestial god.

Finishing the fashion festivities is Steph Tan's "Spill The Tea" collection. Her Majesty the Queen may not approve of her slightly revealing pastel piece, but they sure elevate and after high tea look with a sense of seduction.
