QC gov’t orders events places to operate at 30% capacity

The city government of Quezon City has released the guidelines for event venues to prevent further transmission of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the city.

Hotel function rooms and similar venues may operate at 30 percent for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, and other events.

For social purposes, the venues may operate at 20 percent provided the facility complies with the Safety Seal program.

Organizers and venue owners/ operators will be held liable for exceeding the capacity or for violation of health protocols.

They must record the names and contact details of all attendees and KyusiPass digital contact tracing should be used as far as possible for contact tracing.

Meanwhile, accommodation venues and hotels receiving returning Overseas Filipinos (OFs) must report to the Office of the City Administrator for documentation and monitoring.

All OFs must complete the 14-day mandatory quarantine period regardless of a negative RT-PCR test result.

OFs who are residents of the city must be picked up at the hotel by the Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) and continue their quarantine at their barangay quarantine facility or other facility approved by the City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU).
