There is more to Negros than its picturesque destinations. Much like its tourist spots, its culture and heritage is filled with great stories and myths all told by its natives. And these stories have become the roots and inspirations for the works of many Negrense artisans.

That is what the Negros Trade Fair (NTF) puts on the spotlight. For three decades, NTF is one of the country’s longest running provincial trade fair happening each year in Metro Manila, a signature project of the Association of Negros Producers (ANP). After a year of silence due to the pandemic, the fair is back and brings new opportunities and a bigger marketplace for producers as it goes online.

For the entire month of June, the fair's online marketplace is featuring the best products and services that Negros has to offer, highlighting the island's culture, lifestyle, history and stories behind many of its traditions.

"The e-commerce site is a platform for small to medium scale businesses to showcase a selection of products created with skilled craftsmanship and a taste of renowned Negrense cuisine," the Negros Season of Culture, Negros Occidental's cultural initiative, says. "Sellers from various sectors such as natural and organic food, garments, fashion accessories, furniture, décor, houseware, agriculture, and tourism represent the industries which provide for and sustain the people of Negros. In the long term, it will enable ANP members not only to establish an online presence but will also allow them to tap both the local and international markets."

Apart from making its digital debut, the fair also launched a physical store in Bacolod City. Aptly named The HUB, the showroom presents quality Negrense-made products and serves as a center for entrepreneurship for the province.

The NTF also celebrates the dynamic partnerships formed over the years with the Provincial Government of Negros, Gov. Eugenio “Bong” Lacson, ANP, Department of Tourism, Department of Trade and Industry, private business sectors, sponsors, and media partners, who collectively share the common goal to promote the province and strengthen small and medium enterprises in Negros.
