Learning for the first time that she is going to be a mommy was quite an emotional moment for actress Desiree del Valle.
She told Star Magic's Inside News, "When I saw this (pregnancy kit showing two lines), sobrang happy namin ni Papi. Halong tawa, halong iyak. Tumatalon kami pareho tapos hawak ko lang ito (kit)."
Papi is, of course, her husband, Boom Labrusca.
The two announced they are expecting their first child together only last week.
Desiree added, "Sobrang happy ko, sobrang ang lakas lakas ng heartbeat niya. Parang I couldn't believe na there's actually a living baby inside me noong time na 'yon at saka kung gaano na siya kabuo."
The 39-year-old related how she immediately told her handlers in Star Magic about it, going on to advise them that she cannot accept projects anymore by June.
