According to the Muntinlupa City government, the couple followed all procedures before they were vaccinated, including registering with the Muntinlupa City COVID-19 Vaccination Program (MunCoVac). They were part of a group of residents from the posh Ayala Alabang Village who were vaccinated at the site.

Gonzalez posted a selfie after her vaccination on Instagram and encouraged people to get their shots.

“First shot done of Astra Zeneca.. Thank you MunCoVac & Muntinlupa City for the seamless and easy vaccination process. Encouraging everyone to get vaccinated towards achieving herd immunity. Let’s protect our loved ones by getting vaccinated. Maraming Salamat. Register now in your LGU #letsgetvaccinated #vaccinessavelives #ItWasNotPainfulAtAll #BakunadongMuntinlupeño,” Gonzalez wrote.

The Muntinlupa City government has been ramping up its campaign to encourage more people to get vaccinated.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi urged Muntinlupa residents to register with MunCoVac so they can be scheduled for vaccination. The city currently vaccinates people belonging to the priority groups A1 (health workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (persons with comorbidities).

As of May 31, 52,469 Muntinlupa residents have received their first dose of the vaccine consisting of 5,887 A1, 9,701 A2, 36,833 A3, and 48 A4 (essential workers), who are overseas Filipino workers inoculated during the Labor Day celebration last May 1.

A total of 19,929, or 38 percent, of the 52,469 were administered the second dose of the vaccine. Muntinlupa aims to vaccinate 385,000 eligible residents by November.
