Subaru launches new XV for 2021

Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., distributor of Subaru cars, brings upgrades to the styling, convenience, and drive mode of the Subaru XV with its latest 2021 model.

These revisions include redesigned 18-inch wheels and a new front bumper and grille, resulting in a more aggressive and sportier look. Subaru has also made the new XV more capable, thanks to the addition of dual-function X-Mode and SI-Drive.

X-Mode alows the driver to select between two different settings tailored to specific driving conditions like dirt and mud. It complements Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to allow drivers to take the road less traveled, get muddier, and have more daring adventures. The system provides advanced, all-road capability and rugged performance, helping drivers get out of deep mud and improving driving confidence, especially on uneven surfaces or challenging inclines.

SI-Drive is Subaru’s powertrain performance management system that allows the driver to choose between the vehicle’s “Intelligent” and “Sport” modes.

The crossover’s suspension has also been retuned, featuring coils and dampers that have been optimized for an even smoother and more comfortable ride. These improvements provide a more enjoyable driving experience all-around for both the driver and passengers.

The refreshed XV is also equipped with several new features like a new eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-way power driver’s seat with memory, LED fog lights, reverse auto-tilt door mirrors, and speed-sensing auto door locks.

As before, the new XV is underpinned by the four Subaru Core Technologies, which contribute towards optimized handling, maximum comfort, and enhanced safety for everyone onboard. These four Subaru Core Technologies are: EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Boxer Engine, and Subaru Global Platform.

The 2021 Subaru XV is offered in one variant – the 2.0i-S EyeSight. It will be available in a total of eight colors: Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Cool Grey Khaki, Pure Red, Crystal Black Silica, and three new shades: Plasma Yellow Pearl, Horizon Blue Pearl, and Magnetite Grey Metallic.

Subaru is pleased to announce that the upgrades of the new model will be offered at no extra cost. The 2021 XV 2.0i-S EyeSight will carry the same SRP as the pre-facelift model: P1,908,000. From now until June 30, 2021, customers may also purchase the new XV at a special introductory price of only P1,828,000. Subaru will bear the full DTI safeguard bond for all Subaru XV units on behalf of its customers.
