Man yields P4.3-M shabu in QC sting


Police seized a total of P4,352,000 worth of shabu from a drug suspect during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City, on Sunday.

Police Lt. Col. Jeffrey Bilaro, Quezon City Police Station 4 commander, identified the suspect as Khalid Sana Guiabal, 36, a native of Maguindanao.

The suspect was arrested by operatives of the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) and the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) at about 5:30 p.m. on Don Victorino Ext. in Barangay Holy.

He was cuffed after an undercover police officer bought shabu from him during the entrapment operation.

Aside from the P4,352,000 worth of shabu, two cellular phones, various IDs, a weighing scale, and the buy-bust money were recovered from the suspect.  

Guiabal will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2012.
