With his consistent performance that proved instrumental in Blacklist International's championship run, Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap bagged the MPL Philippines Season 7 Finals Most Valuable Player award.

EDWARD, who garnered praises for his stellar play on Benedetta and Paquito, tallied 1.86 kills and 3.14 assists against 1.57 deaths for a 3.18 KDA throughout Blacklist's 4-3 victory over Execration in the grueling grand finals on Sunday night, May 30.

Beyond his stats, the 17-year-old pro emerged as a steady presence for Blacklist against Execration's veteran Renz "Renzio" Cadua on the EXP lane while also making plays across the map.

After the Agents went down 0-2, EDWARD played aggressively on Benedetta armed with Hunter Strike as he went for split pushes and picked the right timing to join the team in clashes for a surgical Game 3 triumph.

His Uranus carried the fight for the Tier One Entertainment-backed team in a losing cause in Game 4 before returning to his signature sidelane Benedetta to help the squad overhaul a 3-1 series deficit.

Come the all-or-nothing Game 7, EDWARD's Paquito gave Blacklist extra punch to aid Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario's Aldous and Kiel "OHEB" Soriano's Harith on the offensive end while captain Jonmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna's Estes and Jayson "ESON" Gerardo's Rafaela fueled the team's trademark healing strategy to punctuate the thrilling title series.

EDWARD will look to sustain his fine form when Blacklist competes against regional powerhouse teams in the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 on June 7-13.
