Dr. Susan Barlin, Ph.D, has an interesting mission these days: to inspire us to listen, learn and live happily.

Through his YouTube show called "Life Talk with Susan Barlin," the popular life coach is not only a shoulder to cry on but may just be the light you need to guide you through the darkness in your life.

Barlin has enlisted the help of some celebrities who can truly inspire and motivate others to be their best in her online show. Some of the personalities who guested in her program include Baron Gaisler, Teresa Loyzaga, and Ara Mina, Sean de Guzman.

"These celebrities can really inspire with their stories. They have a name, and they are popular. That's why people can relate to their personal stories. That's the goal of my show on YouTube - to inspire," said Barlin, when asked about his ultimate goal for her online program.

Despite having celebrity guests on her show, Barlin admitted that she is not familiar with the stars.

Barlin recalled an embarrassing moment when she was introduced to Oscar awardee actor Ben Affleck during a movie premiere in Hollywood.

"Ben was surprised when I told him I am not familiar with him. I told him don't get offended," she said, during a Zoom press conference with select members of the entertainment press recently.

Asked to give advice to stars and people affected by the pandemic, Barlin said: "They should reinvent themselves. Focus on their talent and identify the area that needs reinvention. People need entertainment. If I were a movie star, I would think of something where I can use my God-given talent and inspire people."

Barlin said that she also enjoys giving advice. "I can easily identify people who need help through body language. My instinct is strong and always right."

People describe Barlin as incredible, extremely down-to-earth, big-hearted, approachable, humorous, and full of life. Her life is full of adventures. She had her hands on many industries like global trade and marketing, investment and tourism promotion, international real estate, sales and concept development.

Barlin also tried her hand in international expos and conferences, publishing, business development specializing in international trade, market identification, marketing, branding, promotion, R&D, conceptualization, research and analysis, coaching, and training.

She started to dedicate herself to advocacy that is bigger than profit but full of meaning. After all, it only takes a big burning desire and commitment plus the heart to make a difference.

This is what she lives for right now, and she believes that she had found the answer and vehicle for her dream to finally come true. It is not an easy way, but she accepts the challenges.

With much enthusiasm for the service and passion she has now, she vows to help individuals through her knowledge, skills and experiences.
