Edward Barber tells OPM stories to the world

Edward Barber's Kwentong Barber finale ended with the question of "chance", however, the young Kapamilya actor's career as a host is not at all about "chance" but an impressive and international breakthrough.

So just when everyone thought that Edward's popular MYX online talk show will be bidding goodbye, the news that there will be Kwentong Barber Season 2 immediately followed, only a few days after its successful initial 13-episode run.

Even before the show's last episode, fans were already clamoring for MYX to bring back the show that brought the young VJ's gift of gab into the attention of both fans and fussy viewers earning him praises and ushering him into the company of Luiz Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Billy Crawford, all known for their quick-witted hosting.

Viewers were especially surprised that the young man who almost quit "Bahay ni Kuya" due to language barrier is now waxing fluent and unfaltering prose in Tagalog.

But wait, there's more good news about this handsome Pinoy Big Brother alumnus.

The newest and the hottest host this side of the local entertainment world will also lead the new and vibrant breed of Filipino music artists in their quest to be acknowledged internationally through the upcoming show "Fresh Take" to be aired starting June 5 on MYX and on June 6 on The Filipino Channel (TFC) and iWantTFC.

Edward's mission is to introduce to the Filipinos all over the globe, what OPM (Original Pilipino Music) is all about: the heart, soul, humor, and the hugot behind the creations of Pinoy musikeros.

With two shows under his command, Edward, the host, is definitely in it for the long term, as he earlier vowed during his contract signing with Kapamilya network to fearlessly jump and take every opportunity.

So carpe diem, Edward.
