On Saturday, May 22, "Oh My Job!" will give an update on overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Israel.

There are now 30,000 Filipinos living in Israel. For now, the Philippines has temporarily suspended the deployment of Filipino workers to Israel due to ongoing hostilities in Gaza, according to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

The local suspension has affected some 400 caregivers who were bound for Israel. Their departure has been postponed due to the fighting between Israel and Hamas. As of May 21, Israel and Hamas approved the ceasefire.

In this episode, Atty. Francis de Guzman, Director of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration-Anti-Illegal Recruitment Branch (POEA-AIRB), will share tips on how to determine if a recruiter is operating illegally.

In the “Tip Of Da Week’ segment, host Arnell Ignacio will also give his insights on how one can pass the probationary period and eventually get hired for work on a regular basis.

Tuesday Niu and Bea Binene will feature other various topics and announce job vacancies.

These and more in the top-rating show “Oh My Job!” on Saturday, 1 to 2 p.m., aired simultaneously on GMA News TV and DZBB 594 Super Radyo. Participate by calling OMJ Hotline #83731705 at 87090340.
