Biñan LGU thanks medical frontliners with care kits delivered to their doorsteps

BIÑAN, Laguna - The local government unit (LGU)here launched on Tuesday (May 18) an initiative providing care kits to medical frontliners residing in the city as a way of thanking them for their hard work amid the pandemic.

Each care box contains washable personal protective equipment (PPE), alcohol, spray bottle, face shield, vitamins, as well as KN95, surgical, and washable face masks.

Frontliners are encouraged to register through an online database to receive their kit via door-to-door delivery either to their home or to the medical facility they're working in.

A staff member of the Mayor's Office told the Manila Bulletin that they are still collecting information and will start delivering the care kits on May 24.

In April, 2020, the city government has launched a similar initiative and was able to provide care kits to over 1,000 medical frontliners.
