About 89 families or 363 people were affected after a fire hit a residential area in Pasig City Wednesday night, the Pasig City Public Information Office (PIO) announced.
In its Facebook post, the PIO said that the families were evacuated from the residential area that caught fire in Tuazon Compound, Barangay San Miguel.
The fire started at 7:00 p.m. and reached second alarm before it was declared fire out at 11:15 p.m. by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The city government and Pasig Social Welfare Department (PSWD) has set up an evacuation area at San Miguel Elementary School where the affected residents were provided with alcohols, face masks, and disaster kits.
The city government also put up a community kitchen to serve hot meals for the displaced families.
