Execration made quick work of Mongolia's Lilgun, 2-0, on Wednesday, May 19, to close its impressive Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Season 2-Southeast Asia Upper Division campaign and remain in the race to the second Major of the year.

Emerging carry Jinn "Palos" Lamatao's Lifestealer was a monster in the series opener while offlaner Nikko "Nikko" Bilocura's Doom and position-4 support Carlo "BDz" Manalo's Grimstroke took charge in the clincher.

Execration finished with a 4-3 win-loss record in the eight-team Upper Division to forge at least a tiebreaker match for the third place which guarantees a Wild Card spot in the WePlay AniMajor slated June 2 to 13 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Coach Kimuel "Kim0" Borromeo's team could even play in a tiebreaker for the second-place finish which gives a seat in the Major group stage depending on the results of the matches between TNC Predator and Fnatic at posting time and OB x Neon Esports against T1 on Thursday.

Palos on his Lifestealer spearheaded Execration's aggression in Game 1, slaying hero after hero with his early Armlet of Mordiggian and Desolator pickup to hit a 13-2-12 kill-death-assist record and spark the 38-25 win in 40 minutes.

Nikko's Legion Commander provided debuff, bonus attack speed and HP regen through the Press The Attack in team fights and tower sieges while also securing pickoffs of his own to finish with 10-4-19 kill-death-assist record.

Nikko continued his stellar play in Game 2 with his Doom linking up well with BDz's Grimstroke to enable Yuri "Yowe" Pacaña's Medusa to scale from the mid to late game.

The 20-year-old offlaner came through with multiple double Doom setups through Grimstroke's Soulbind ultimate, immediately rendering two Lilgun heroes in clashes.

Nikko tallied a 12-5-22 kill-death-assist record while BDz chalked 26 assists. Position-5 support Ralph Richard "RR" Peñano also chipped in 27 assists to go with three kills against only three deaths.
