60,000 Pasay students to receive P3,000 cash assistance


The local government of Pasay will be distributing P3,000 financial assistance to 60,000 public school students in the city.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the first tranche of financial assistance will be distributed to five schools this month.

On May 19, 2,265 students from Rafael Palma Elementary School, Maricaban Elementary School, and Bernabe Elementary School will receive their cash assistance.

Students from Maricaban Elementary School and Pasay City North High School-Tramo totaling 5,097 will receive their financial assistance from May 20 to 22.

Concerned schools were told to coordinate with barangay officials to ensure that health and safety protocols will be followed during their respective aid rollout.

Cash assistance shall be received by the parents of the learner beneficiaries.

Parents will be required to present a valid identification card (ID) as well as his or her child's ID.

The distribution for the second tranche of the cash assistance is already being prepared by the city government, Rubiano said.
