After her top 21 finish at the 69th Miss Universe Competition in Florida last Monday, Rabiya Mateo hinted at her intention to join Miss World Philippines beauty pageant.
"Miss World kaya?" wrote Rabiya on Twitter on May 17. (What if I join Miss World?)
However, a friend of Rabiya told Manila Bulletin that the Ilongga beauty queen has no Twitter account.
Prior to the finals, Rabiya thanked her pageant fans for supporting her journey to the 69th Miss Universe pageant.
“This post is dedicated to all pageant fans all over the world. Salamat po. Terima kasih. Khob khun ka. Gracias.
“Thank you for celebrating and empowering us candidates. There may be some who are critical to us but still there are millions of nice people who cheer for us. Sending love from Florida to the rest of the Universe,” wrote Rabiya on Instagram.
