Kapuso star Richard Yap was recently spotted at a community pantry in Cebu.
A Facebook user came up with a live stream of the event, even allowing some constituents to take a photo of him.

Another online user posted some behind-the-scene photos of Richard mounting a "feeding program" wearing the same outfit.
Though others appreciate the 53-year-old star's effort, some people are not happy about it.
A Twitter user even called out Richard.
"Klarong klaro! Ang community pantry dito sa Cogon Ramos, Cebu City ginawang kampanya ni Richard Yap na tatakbong Congressman sa North District. Nagtanggal pa ng facemask para picture," the text read, while Twitter accounts of DILG Philippines, different news company in Cebu, and journalists were also tagged.

Richard has not made any comments about it.
It was in 2019 when Richard first submitted his bid for Congress but failed to unseat long-time politician and Cebu City 1st District Representative Raul Del Mar.
Richard has joined GMA-7. Prior, he was a contract star of ABS-CBN where he was featured on '"Be Careful with My Heart" and "My Binondo Girl."
