The Police Regional Office 4A and the Police Regional Office 4B will have a new police regional director in the latest reorganization that was triggered by the retirement of Gen. Debold Sinas on Saturday.
The reorganization was approved by Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar as he took over the national police leadership on Saturday, May 8.
Brig. Gen. Eliseo Cruz was named as the new director of the PRO4A which covers the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon while Brig. Gen. Nelson Bondoc will take over the leadership of the PRO4B which covers the the provinces of Occidental and Oriental MIndoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan.
Cruz will replace Brig. Gen. Felipe Natividad who was named as the new director of the police's elite Special Action Force (SAF) while Bondoc will take over the post that would be vacated by Brig. Gen. Pascual Grageda who was designated as the new director of the Directorate for Logistics.
Maj. Gen. Bernabe Balba, on the other hand, was designated as the director of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations-Visayas, a post that is expected to earn him a third star or the rank of Police Lieutenant General. The post was previously occupied by Lt. Gen. Dionardo Carlos who is now the Chief Directorial Staff of the Philippine National Police.
The reorganization is effective on May 10, Monday.
