The construction will commence right after the formal signing of the deed of donation that is scheduled in the second quarter of 2021.

“The realization of said infrastructure projects will enable the PCG District North Eastern Mindanao to improve the delivery of public service and enforcement of maritime laws in the Philippine waters,” Sibayan said.

Last Saturday, May 1, the PCG also announced the establishment of its recruitment center in the Caraga region at the Butuan City’s Government Center located in Barangay Tiniwisan.

The PCG said the resumption of nationwide recruitment has yet to be finalized, “pending on the approval of budget for addition personnel from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).”
