The Pasay City government distributed on Friday groceries and essential items to families who were relocated to Naic, Cavite and Tanay, Rizal.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano sent a team from the Mayor’s Office and Engineering Office to personally turn over to Naic, Cavite Mayor Junio Dualan a total of 796 bags of groceries and other essential needs for the families relocated at Dorotea 1 and Belmont Homes in Naic town.
Rubiano said the city government also distributed food packs and other personal needs to 46 families relocated in Tanay,Rizal.
The mayor said that it is also the responsibility of the city government to help the families relocated in both places since they are still registered in Pasay City.
Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla criticized Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on the alleged lack of aid for Manilenos who have been relocated to Naic town.
Remulla and Moreno patched things up hours after the mayor called to explain his side.
