Mayor Emi thanks organizers of community pantries


Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano thanked the organizers of three community pantries that were established in the city to help city residents especially those who lost their job because of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Rubiano said the three community pantries established in the city are located along M. Dela Cruz corner Conchita near Libertad/ Arnaiz St., Barangay 127; Camia and Ruiz de Guzman Streets, Barangay 136; and one in Barangay 185.

She reminded the organizers of the three community pantries to coordinate with their respective barangays to ensure the orderliness of the activity and to follow the prescribed health protocols.

“To all our city residents visiting the community pantry established in their barangay, please don't forget to follow the guidelines on the health protocol especially the EMI habit (Ensure to always wash your hand, Mask is a must, and Implement physical distancing,” Rubiano said.

The mayor said she is happy that the spirit of Bayanihan is being shown by residents in helping those who are in need in this time of the pandemic.

Rubiano also asked the community pantry organizers to set a time in the morning and afternoon for the residents to visit and secure some provisions.
