Brave Girls’ Yujeong and Yuna, BLACKPINK’s Rosé top K-pop girl group member rankings

Trending K-pop group Brave Girls’ Yujeong, Yuna and Minyoung, BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Red Velvet’s Wendy are the top five most talked about individual K-pop girl group members for the month of April. 

The Korea Corporate Research Institute released the latest brand reputation rankings for individual K-pop girl group members based on consumer participation, media, communication and community indices. 

It analyzed 129.16 million pieces of big data covering 545 girl group members from March 18 to April 18, up by 7.02 percent from March’s 120.69 million. 

Brave Girls’ 2017 song “Rollin’’ climbed to the top of music charts, thanks to a YouTube video uploaded in February showing their performances before soldiers that became viral.  They are currently experiencing a surge in popularity. 

Brave Girls' Yujeong placed first in the brand reputation rankings for individual K-pop girl group members for April with a score of 6.4 million, an increase by 36.67 percent compared to her third-place finish in March with a score of 4.68 million. 

BLACKPINK’s Rosé, who was No. 1 in March, slid to second place with a score of 6.17 million, down by 4.1 percent from 6.43 million last month.  

Brave Girls' Yuna grabbed third place, rising from fourth last month. She got a score of 4.8 million, up by 13.28 percent from 4.24 million in March. 

Red Velvet’s Wendy rose to fourth place from 31st last month with a score of 4.26 million, an increase by 256.03 percent compared to 1.19 million in March. 

Brave Girls' Minyoung placed fifth with a score of 4.24 million, up by 34.22 percent from her ninth-place finish of 3.16 million last month. 

BLACKPINK’s Jennie grabbed sixth place with a score of 3.9 million, down from her second place score of 5.18 million in March.
