Former President Joseph Estrada is “doing better” after being brought back to the intensive care unit (ICU), his son, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, said Saturday.
In a Facebook post, Jinggoy said Erap has been “responding well to measures to control” his superimposed bacterial lung infection.
“He is still on oxygen support but continues to be alert and oriented. He still remains at the ICU for further monitoring,” Jinggoy said.
Erap’s kidney function is also “improving” and his medications for blood pressure are “being lessened,” the former senator added.
Jinggoy sought anew for prayers for his father’s progress and recovery.
