Several celebrities took to social media to air their sentiments over the presence of several Chinese ships within out territorial waters.
Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla posted a photo of the alleged vessels writing as caption, "Nakapanghihina. Who’s stopping them?"
She also quoted Villardo Abuene, president of the Homonhon Environmental Rescue Organization: “The Chinese fishermen have been overfishing, depleting our marine resources.”
Actress Angel Locsin, meanwhile, simply used the hashtag #seaspiracy.
Not surprisingly, it prompted a reply from actor Robin Padilla, who copy-pasted a link to an article citing Vietnam as the "most frequent poachers in PH waters" -- earning derision from fans in the process.
Awarded actor John Arcilla then said, "Thank you for this."
