BACOOR CITY, Cavite - Three persons were hurt while 500 families were displaced by a fire that gutted 100 homes in Sitio Tibag, Barangay Panapaan III on Tuesday (April 13).
Three people sustained minor injuries and were given immediate attention by the emergency medical services team.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla said the fire victims are currently taking shelter at Gov. P. F. Espiritu Elementary School.
The fire started at 1:25 p.m. and reached the third alarm before being contained at 3:24 p.m. Aside from the three fire trucks of the local Bureau of Fire Department, 15 fire engines from nearby cities and municipalities and 39 volunteer trucks also responded to the incident. Fire out was declared at 3:57 p.m.
