Thirdy Ravena admits that he is still groping for form despite returning from a lengthy absence due to a fractured right finger.

The San-En NeoPhoenix guard said he’s about 70 to 80 percent in terms of conditioning even after playing five games since missing three months due to the injury he sustained in early-January.

“I’m definitely happy that my condition is getting better, although I’m still not where I wanted to be,” Ravena said after the NeoPhoenix’s 82-76 road victory over the Shiga Lakestars in Otsu, Japan last Sunday, April 11.

Ravena is averaging 8.4 points on 35-percent shooting with 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals during his return which started with San-En losing the first four games before the skid was snapped against Shiga.

San-En is no longer in contention for a playoff spot with a 12-41 record with seven games left in the regular season.

The NeoPhoenix are set to play a 7 p.m. local time (6 p.m. Manila time) game Wednesday, April 14, against the Ryukyu Golden Kings at home in Toyohashi.

Also slated are two road games this weekend opposite the Shinshu Brave Warriors in Chikuma, two home matches against Osaka Evessa on April 24 and 25 and a visit to Kariya for a pair of meetings with the Mikawa Seahorses on May 1 and 2 to wrap up the season.
