The meeting was conducted by Gesmundo and the other SC justices via video conferencing using the SC’s Philippine Judiciary 365 platform.

“We assure you that the Court En Banc (full court) will study the issues that you raised and will pass and approve appropriate issuances in due time,” Gesmundo told judges and court employees.

For her part, Senior Associate Justice Estela M. Perlas-Bernabe reported that the SC’s request for inclusion in the priority population group A4 (category A4) of the Philippine National Deployment and Vaccination Plan for COVID19 Vaccines has been granted by the National Task Force Against COVID19 (NTF).

Last April 5, the SC wrote the NTF for the inclusion of judiciary employees in the priority population group A4.

Bernabe said that based on the NTF’s approval, vaccinations for category A4 will start in May 2021.

She said that since the NTF has granted the inclusion of judiciary employees in the priority population group A4 (category A4), they are highly encouraged to immediately register with the local government units (LGUs) of their residence or workplace.

The SC’s public information office (PIO) said that among those who participated in the online meeting were officers and members of the Philippine Judges Association (PJA), Philippine Trial Judges League, Inc. (PTJLI), Philippine Women Judges Association (PWJA), Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines (MetCJAP), and the Philippine Association of Court Employees (PACE).
