ArkAngel Predator narrowly missed a podium finish in the Asia Pacific Predator League PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Grand Final 2020/2021 on Sunday, April 11.

Standing at No. 2 in the 16-team tournament entering the final day, ArkAngel looked poised to nab a top three spot as it took the third place and got three kills in Round 10 at Miramar.

However, ArkAngel eventually fell after losing steam in the last two rounds while Vietnam's Cerberus Esports and Team NO1, Indonesia's Victim Rise and Thailand's Sharper Esports suddenly stepped up.

ArkAngel, composed of captain Dan Io "MAD-DOG" Noya, Christian Joy "CeeJay18" Estrella, Ren "AljnBOTz" Alvior, Hanan "Nann" Sansarona and Jessie Jude "EvlPtrick" Aparece, settled for No. 6 with 91 points.

MAD-DOG and the crew scored the chicken dinner in Round 5 at Miramar last Friday.

Indonesia's Eagle 365 Esports amassed 125 points to win the championship and the $37,500 top prize.
