Bulacan thief nabbed through CCTV; 319 ECQ violators rounded up


A man who robbed a store early dawn on Thursday was arrested by authorities through A CCTV footage in Barangay Pulong Buhangin, Santa Maria province of Bulacan.

Police identified the arrested suspect as Ronel Aquino.

Investigation showed that the suspect gained entry into the store by destroying its lock and carted away P30,000 in cash, three cellular phones, frozen goods and groceries, wines and liquor, a stuffed toy, and a small liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank.

Recovered from the suspect were P1,000 in different denominations, a stuffed toy, and a SuperKalan LPG tank. The other stolen items were nowhere to be found.

Also in Bulacan, Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, Bulacan police director, reported that the Bulacan police has rounded up 130 Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) protocol violators Thursday night.

Five citation tickets were issued for violation of the liquor ban, 34 for curfew, and 91 for violations of minimum health standard protocol.

On Wednesday, the Bulacan police director also said they have gathered 189 individuals province-wide. Two were arrested for violation of the liquor ban, 54 for curfew, and 133 for health protocol violations.
