The number of new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases is going down, but the death toll is alarmingly going up.

The pandemic is still ravaging the country, and this has already gotten the attention of the World Health Organization (WHO), which is worried that the country’s health care system could soon be overwhelmed by the rising number of infections.
