Widow found dead with multiple stab wounds in Pangasinan

MANGATAREM, Pangasinan – Police are facing a blank wall on the death of a 78-year-old widow who was found with multiple stab wounds inside her house in Barangay Andangin here on Easter Sunday.

Victim Erlinda Ebarola was found bloodied by her elder sister, 98, in the kitchen around 5:55 p.m.

At first, the sibling thought it was because she has hypertension that she died.
But the embalmer in their area said that the victim sustained multiple stab wounds in her back that caused her death.

Police are still investigating the incident to determine the perpetrator.

The neighbor of victim who was a barangay kagawad (councilor) did not notice anyone coming in the house of victim.
