The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was spotted 195 kilometers West Northwest of Zamboanga City as of 3 a.m.

The LPA is forecast to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Zamboanga City within 24 hours.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said the easterlies or humid winds from the Pacific will prevail over Visayas and the rest of Mindanao.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
