Mandaluyong LGU to close its vaccination centers for disinfection


The local government unit (LGU) of Mandaluyong City announced on Wednesday (March 31) that its vaccination centers will be closed for three consecutive days, to give way for disinfection.

After weeks of conducting vaccination, the LGU said that Andres Bonifacio Integrated School, Isaac Lopez Integrated School, Hulo Integrated School, and Pedro P. Cruz Elementary School vaccination centers will be closed for disinfection from April 2 to April 4.

The said vaccination centers will resume their operations on April 5, the city government said on its official Facebook page.

The Mandaluyong LGU said most of its healthcare workers have been vaccinated already. 

On March 30, the city started inoculating its senior citizens.

There are 1, 024 active cases of COVID-19 in Mandaluyong City, as of March 30.
