LOOK: ‘La Casa de Papel’ Korean adaptation cast confirmed

Netflix Korea has finally announced the cast we’re set to expect on their newest project, the K-drama adaptation of “La Casa de Papel.” The Korean original series is based on the Spanish series most commonly known as “Money Heist,” which has gained a lot of attention with the global audience.

For this upcoming series, Netflix Korea teams up with production companies BH Entertainment and Contents Zium.

La Casa de Papel” will be set in the South Korean Peninsula and will be directed by Kim Hong Sun who had worked on a diverse set of dramas and movies in the past alongside writers Ryu Yong Jae, Kim Hwan Chae, and Choe Sung Jun.

The gang members will be made up of Yoo Ji Tae from “The Swindlers” and “Svaha: The Sixth Finger” as The Professor, Park Hae Soo as Berlin, Jeon Jong Seo as Tokyo, Lee Won Jong as Moscow, Kim Ji Hun as Denver, Jang Yoon Ju as Nirobi, Park Jung Woo as Rio, Kim Ji Hun as Helsinki, and Lee Kyu Ho as Oslo.

Under the Task Force team, we’re set to see Kim Yunjin who we’ve seen in “Ode to My Father” and “Seven Days” as Seon Woojin, and Kim Sung O as Cha Moonhyuk.

Park Myung Hoon as Cho Youngmin and Lee Joo Been as Youn Misun will be among the hostages in the series.

This K-drama version of “La Casa de Papel” will have 12 episodes soon to be available for viewing on Netflix’s OTT Platform. More details to follow.
