Sarah Geronimo did not disappoint on the one-night virtual event “Tala: The Film Concert,” that was streamed on KTX.ph and iWantTFC last Saturday.

The majority of the concert lineup consisted of Sarah’s original songs beginning with “Sa Iyo.” One of her biggest hits in 2003, the same year she made her showbiz breakthrough.

Next up was a fierce performance on "Kilometro" followed by shortened versions of “Duyan” and “Misteryo.”

Midway through the show, Sarah showcased her versatility with some current chart-topping hits including BTS’ “Dynamite,” Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” and “Break My Heart” as well as The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”

A definite highlight of the show was her death-defying "Ikot-Ikot" performance. “Challenging siya kasi dapat well-rehearsed bawat movements. Hindi mo pwedeng labanan yung galaw nung set. Kailangan magmuka siyang effortless, dinadala ka lang ng paggalaw nung set.”

“The more I did it mas nagiging okay, mas nagiging comfortable, mas nagiging easier for me. Nakaka-amaze at exciting. I hope magustuhan nila ito," she said before the number.

To make things even more special, Sarah also did a duet with her husband, actor Matteo Guidicelli as they sang “If You’re Not the One” before his wife joined him for a duet of Ed Sheeran’s “Best Part of Me.”

Last but not the least, Sarah performed "Tala" showing off new dance moves as her first digital concert drew to a close.

“Tala: The Film Concert” served as her comeback after her months-long physical absence from “ASAP Natin ‘To,” this also marked her first full-length performance after her joint concert with Regine Velasquez, “Unified,” in Feb. 2020.
