Mayor Enrico A. Roque said 497 health frontliners were scheduled to be vaccinated.

The priority list, as approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Department of Health (DOH) includes frontline workers in the health facilities of the town, including staff of the Rural Health Units, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and members of barangay Health Emergency Response teams (BHERTs).

Roque said that after the frontline workers, senior citizens will be the next to be vaccinated, to be followed by the uniformed personnel, teachers, social workers, indigent, and those in the working sector identified by the IATF as essential. "This is the start of a good and safe tomorrow for the town of Pandi and Pandienos," Roque said.

On Thursday, in a phone interview, Governor Daniel R. Fernando said there were already around 1, 300 health workers from the Bulacan Medical Center (BMC), Provincial Health Office-Public Health (PHO-PH) staff, and some from the district hospitals who have received their first doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines.

Fernando said inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines were the 833 health workers and employees of the BMC, and staff from the PHO-PH and district hospitals.

He said 300 frontline health workers were vaccinated per day two days after the arrival of the 900 doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines in the province. The first roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination program in Bulacan was held on March 8, 2021 at the Bulacan Provincial Vaccination Site.

Fernando said the 900 Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines that are expected to arrive in the last week of March are for the next category of recipients in the second week of April.
