Honda’s most rugged motorcycle gets even better with a boost of power. Formerly known as the CRF250L and CRF250 Rally, Honda’s favorite dual sports motorcycles have been rechristened as the new CRF300s, offering a new generation of design and performance off-road.
The new CRF300s are powered by a new 286cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, engine that is Euro-5 compliant. The new engine produces 10% more peak power, now at 27 Ps at 8,500 rpm and 18% more peak torque, now at 26.6 Nm at 6,500 rpm. They’re paired with a 6-speed transmission with an Assist/Slipper Clutch for smoother shifting as standard. Furthermore, Honda says the new models are capable of achieving an average rating of 29.5Km/L.
The all-new CRF300L sports design inspired by the CRF450L. It features a thin headlight for a sleeker look, a gold-plated upside-down fork, and a pro-link rear suspension system for better performance off-road. Even with the upgrades, the new model is lighter than its predecssor by 6-kg. The CRF300L is priced at Php259,900.
The all-new CRF300 Rally lives up to its more rugged reputation with a new headlight design, as well as a large Rally Raid-style windshield. True to its long-distance enduro aspiration, it comes with a 12.8-liter fuel tank for longer rides. It’s also lighter than its predecessor by 5-kg. The CRF300 Rally is priced at Php300,000.
Both models are already available at all Honda dealerships nationwide.
