Most parts of the country may experience generally fair weather in the coming days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Thursday, March 25.

PAGASA weather specialist Shelly Ignacio said no weather disturbance  will affect the country in the next two to three days.

“So ibig sabihin po niyan, sa susunod na dalawa o tatlong araw, magiging maganda ang taya ng ating panahon, maliban na lang po sa mga isolated na mga pag ulan dahil po sa mga localized thunderstorms (So that means, in the next two or three days, our weather will be good, except for the isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms),” Ignacio said.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or “amihan” may bring cloudy skies with light rains over extreme Northern Luzon on Thursday, particularly in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

On the other hand, the easterlies or warm and humid winds blowing from the Pacific will affect most parts of the country.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies may be experienced in Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Sorsogon, Surigao, Dinagat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The weather system may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and rest of the country.
