Lawyer Mike Santiago, who represents the five men accused of killing and raping Dacera, namely: Rommel Galido, John Pascual dela Serna III, Gregorio de Guzman, Clark Rapinan and Valentine Rosales, filed charges against Christine’s mother, her cousin Katherine Anne Facelo, and her mother's friend and doctor Marichi Ramos-Fong for perjury, libel, cyber libel, slander, malicious prosecution, incriminating innocent persons, and intriguing against honor

The five men also filed the same charges against Lawyer Roger “Brick” Reyes, Dacera camp's family spokesman, Makati police acting chief Col. Harold Depositar, city police investigation unit chief Capt. Danilo Oamil and Dacera case investigators Cpl. Louie Lopez and S/Sgt. Jun Alimurong.

Additionally, Galido and Dela Serna also charged Sharon, Ramos-Fong, Facelo, Depositar, Oamil, Lopez and Alimurong with unlawful arrest, illegal detention, unjust vexation, and grave coercion after they charged them with rape with homicide, keeping them under police custody from January 1 to 6, and for releasing their cell phones only on February 3.

In the victims’ complaint-affidavit, they accused Dacera's mom of “shaming, embarrassing, and ridiculing” them by claiming that they gave illegal drugs to her daughter and raped her before she died even if the medico-legal report declared that the young Dacera passed away due to ruptured aortic aneurysm.

The complainants also said that Dacera's mom kept claiming that her daughter was raped and killed even if the evidence that her camp submitted to the Makati fiscal's office showed otherwise.
