The measure was done in line with the implementation of a stricter general community quarantine (GCQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR), Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.

"Face-to-face transactions and claiming of documents personally will resume on April 5, 2021 (Monday) or as the GCQ situation improves," BulSU said in an advisory dated March 22.

On March 21, the NCR, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal were placed under a GCQ bubble to address the rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases in the country.

According to the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19, a bubble is a non-conventional setup where the entry and exit of people in a particular area is limited.

The new measure will last up to April 4.
